That 4wd Ram 2500 with the Cummins for $35,108 could deliver you that great mpg you're wanting and the Cummins turbo diesel can make BIG power that would destroy a supercharged f-150 with very little invested. Not many other vehicles can hang with a modded diesel when going from a dig on the streets. Those 20psi+ 4wd boosted launches are totally worth the price of admission.
You're also not going to loose your ass if you should ever decide to sell the diesel as there are 2010 Ram diesel 2500's sitting on lots today with a higher price then this new 2014.

The Cummins is awesome no debating that but Dodge has put a new option for people with the 2500 and 3500 trucks. Its the 6.4 hemi which i personally would get if i got a 3/4 ton truck.
