People forget that the Law or Rights don't apply to cops. They can do whatever they want whenever they want. It's your word against theirs. They can pull you over for absolutely anything, they can make up any reason they want, absolutely does Not Matter if its true or not. They are they law. They can say you were speeding/swevered/failed to do this/that - whatever. A bad cop is a bad cop - period, been there, done that...... You can't win.

That being said; if I knowingly have a violation, such as windows tinted to dark, and I get pulled over. The first thing I'd do is put the windows down. Not to show respect, but to hide my violation. Just seems like common sense. My taillights are tinted too dark so if my radar detector goes off, I check my mirrors, and if he's coming up behind me I immediately turn on my parking lights so my taillights look lit. It's worked so far......
