Either you don't understand the meaning behind that flag, or you don't know the meaning behind the word hypocrite, so let me enlighten you.

While there are numerous ways to view it, the basic jist is not giving up your rights to anyone for whatever reason. The word hypocrite is someone that pretends to have virtues that they do not actively posses.

You have openly admitted to giving up your rights, even if you deem is justifiable, while you wave a flag that promotes never giving up your rights. That sir, makes you a hypocrite.

I'd like to add another thing. Although they should be able to do their jobs as safely as possible, their job is not to be safe themselves. Their job is to defend public safety, and have been sworn to protect the constitution. Their safety DOES NOT come before the rights of citizens. Regardless of how reasonable you may think the request is. They do have every right to ask, but it must be a request. As with any request, you have the right to refuse. It doesn't matter if you just want to exercise your rights, or hide something illegal. You still have the right to refuse.

Go back and reread, I did not say record it fight the ticket. I said record so you can file a complaint. Tickets given out of spite (with definitive proof) are a valid complaint. This one would've in best case scenario given him a free vacation (paid administrative leave) but more likely he wouldn't even hear about it. However, enough valid complaints and he will lose his job. We don't need power hungry a-holes running around thinking they own the streets as cops. They are supposed to protect us, not harass us.
