Not trying to jack the thread,but you guys will love this story I have for you.I was in the Air Force and had a Buick Grand National,which was a bada** car at the time,so I used to go to Alabama with a good friend on our days off to his hometown and his girlfriend would set me up and we'd hang out for a couple of days and then drive back to base,well on one of these visits one of his good buddies who was a dispatcher for the police force(of about 3)I think came up with a plan for this one officer who wouldn't run his car hard,now the car was one of those Dodge or Plymouth cars with a 440 in it,so they had us go to a little place in town called Dairy King and they reported that someone was down there doing donuts and burnouts or whatever,so I'm sitting there in the dark with this solid black car and I put my lights on when he pulled into the parking lot and then I pulled out to the highway and he lit'em up,so of course I don't want to wreck my car and I don't know what he's going to do because he doesn't know what is going on,so I take off and he comes up besides me and I hit the brakes,but he leaves room for me to take off and I floor it,so here we go hauling ass down two lane highway at around midnite,I'm doing around 100 or so and he is no where in site,so I slow down a little and finally I see his lights coming around the corner,so he chases me about 10-12 miles to a county line liqour store with a U shape drive,and I'm sitting there and he's in the road watching me and I'm figuring out which way he's going to come after me and I'm hoping he comes in from behind me,and that's what he did and as soon as he commited to pulling in I floored it and hit the road,so I'm pulling away fast and look in the mirror and don't see him,so I slow down again and drive back in to town and go to the police station to find out what happened to him,well LMAO he blew the friggin engine when he floored it to chase me again,I never went back after that and so I don't know how well that went over with the Chief or the city,but that was the craziest thing I ever did with a car,well at least that time!I swear this story to be absolutely true!
