Personally, I'd much rather see something be awesome yet expensive than mundane but cheap. Awesome and cheap tends not to happen very much (discount pizza being the main exception).

I'm not saying it should cost the same as a stripped out Cruze the new Tahoes got rediculously expensive. My parents have owned multiple Tahoes over the years and were going to buy a new one until they saw the price.
