The danger comes from rushing to do this and not following all safety procedures. The dealerships described in this article are rushing because of the fear the money will run out once more..etc..and they have to do this procedure to get the money. Also, they have to wear body suits when dealing with this dangerous chemical...How many do you think will even use all safety equipment every time if they are in a hurry?

As for Sodium silicate, I looked it up and know why it is dangerous... It is considered by many to be a neurotoxin. Something that slowly can hurt you if exposed...
