Let me ask you this, how come when temperatures in the south get up above 110 you don't here about old people dying left and right, but when temps get to 100 up north you do here about people dying from the heat.

It's simple, we're equipped, literally with ac, to deal with it. Other areas of the country don't know how to deal with heat. It's our bread and butter. At the same time there isn't a set of snow tires within 300 miles of where I'm at, no salt trucks, no plows, no nothing, so yeah, it doesn't take much snow at all to shut us down.

By the way, this is an open invitation for anyone to come stay with me this summer. We'll be cutting grass in 115 degree heat index with 90% humidity, it'll be fun, and after two days you'll be hauling ass back up north.

I live in MD where some folks wear Arctic-expedition parkas when it hits 50deg and have their AC running as soon as it's above 70. For some the weather is always extreme I guess. That said, the video is hilarious, even though it's a bit off-the-mark. Unfortunately, it hits home for me as my wife goes into a panic attack at the mere mention of snow in the forecast...
