ud_lose, I am not an officer, however, I have quite a freinds that are, and YES I have heard the term before. BUT, its used in two different ways. Its a term from, a different generation, like the 50's/60's, as a dated British slang term for a harlot....some of the younger guys use as a term for Highway Patrol officers....like the TV show CHiP'S.......so they say CHiPpy. I can olny assume its a regional thing.
