I have my i5 2500K running at 4.2 ghz. No stability issues. No voltage adjustments. Oc poses no threat the the integrity of the chip unless you start playing around with the voltage. Also, if you switch to the Intel chips, make sure there is a "k" after the number. This means it's an unlocked core and can be oc.
