Plus, when you consider the CAD image of the LT4 blown motor that has been circulating for a while now, as well as the resurrection of the "L88" nameplate (possible for the ZR1), it very much looks like the Z06 will have a blown motor.
OR, another possibility is that you'll have a choice of engine. For example, you can have a base model Z06 with an n/a 427 version of the LT1 (LT7) for around $85k, or have the choice of a blown LT4 for $90K. Every indication, however, especially from what I've seen on numerous forums, is that the car will have an LT4 and cost upwards of $90K. I mean we already know this car has cup tires, and is likely to have ceramic brakes. Therefore, it is very much a track car. It will also be $$$$$$

I think it can be debated about the ZL1 and the ZR1 being "Track Cars" while they are excellent performers on the track their forte (at least to me) is to be more of a "All Around Performer" and maybe even a "Supercar" especially in the case of the ZR1.
I mean seriously what are the odds of seeing a 70 y/o driving a Z/28 or ZO6/7? I've seen this with both ZL1's and ZR1's.
The rest of your statements I bow to your info. You seem better informed than me.
