Well I asked the same thing, and my mom told me its because the camaro is more classy than all loud. Which makes sense, the camaro does not even look right being loud. So, If you want a loud car, do like I did and go buy both. I got a brand new camaro and a used 2012 mustang gt for the sound. My daily is the v6 camaro. SS stock exhaust was low, It was just a waste.
