Ford takes the sound of the car very seriously. I think I have it in the book that came in the owner's kit for my Boss about how they take the time to tune the exhaust note. I do know that the Boss 302 system is right up to the 80dB limit the feds allow.
When I saw the '14 1LE last week, and drove the new C7 Vette this week, I was impressed with the sound of both cars.
