You may be right, but I don't see why it couldn't get close. If not, then I say it would be due to the size of the turbos not being large enough to boost the HP to those levels at high rpms. I'm sure they are sized for more low and mid range torque.
But it has a lot left in it....I can't see any reason it couldn't easily go 450HP/475TQ.....minimum. I'd bet on that right now. Hell, the GM 4 bangers are pushing 380 - 390 crank TQ on just a tune.
I reason that b/c the new LFX turbo builds coming out now are usually landing well into the 400+ rwhp/tq range, which means those builds are making around 500/500 at the crank but I realize that is a custom turbo.
Anyways...not trying to argue anything and not trying to derail the thread. We will see soon enough when a tuner gets their hands on one of these bad boys.
