And blow by is an issue because the oil that is blown by in the PCV will accumulate in your manifold or intake and eventually degrade both fuel economy and performance. A catch can is easily the best investment you can make if you anticipate to have a car for a long time.

Ok, Ok. I am sufficiently freeked out! Just ordered an E2CC. Hope it comes with install instructions, as my hubby has diff attitude - "that's what warranty is for!" well, he just traded in his '08 for a '13 because of some splash pan issue. Preventative maintenance is where I'll comfortably reside, thank you!
