I met my wife there and she was a waitress, she has put up with her "Bad Boy" for 40 years now. Still young at heart, and still bad to the bone in my mind.

Funny you mention meeting your wife at Shoney's. I met my first wife at our local Shoney's in October 1973, I was parked in the drive in area on the end in my 74 Camaro. She was with a friend and was cruising in her 73 Chevelle Laguna and I saw her point at my car and I read her lips as she said "Look a NEW Camaro!" I pulled out behind them and got them to pull over. She gave me her phone number and I called her the next day. We went out and were married two months later. We were married 32 years before I lost her to cancer in 2006.
