OP, if you wanted exclusivity in the USA, then go and try to get a Lexus LFA. Very limited in numbers, Lexus controls the rights to the car in the event you try to sell it (you sign a contract with Lexus if they deem you worthy of an LFA to give them the right to buy-back if you want to sell), can only be worked on by a technician who is certified to work on the LFA (void your warranty if you try to do it yourself or get an uncertified technician to work on it for you) and is based on no other car but itself.
Coming here and crying about a car that is just one option (yes, your ZL1 is just a Camaro option) of the complete 5th gen Camaro line-up is pointless. Actually, I feel bad for you because someone convinced you that your car is special and exclusive. There's nothing special about it other than the badges, some design mods, a few go fast and handling upgrades and the limited numbers. Your statements and thoughts is like going to a fastfood restaurant and demanding reservation only table service.
I almost bought a ZL1, but what was offered was just the automatic with paddle shifters (I don't live in the USA), so I chose my 2SS/RS 6M and love the fact that I can mod away to my heart's content if I choose to. Satisfied? I'm quite happy. I promise you I won't go out and buy ZL1 badges and other things to make my Camaro option look like, sound like or even come close to mimicking yours and I do promise you that I will mod it, and I am pretty certain that it will be something that the ZL1 is not. I may even call it "ENV1", but on second thought, she won't need badges. She will be what I want her to be.
Just enjoy motorsports, smile and be happy with what you have and not be concerned with what others may adore about your Camaro option.
