I know Big Navy has told all the Navy activities not to hire any more civilian employees until this congressional budget crap gets works out. My wife JUST got a job as a GS-5 in August, she had been looking/applying for 4 years. She had spousal preference (Ive been in the Navy almost 19 years) and now we wonder if she will get laid off, or have unpaid furloughs or what...
