Hi crew. Just checking in for a bit. I needed to sit down for a while. I have been getting things ready & packing for 8 days away from home. It is crazy how much stuff you need no matter how hard you try to "pack light". Sounds like the adults in transitions thread in here instead of Ol' Farts with hot cars. I can relate. Hang in there everyone. We will get through all this change together. I had another really busy day but miraculously managed to get all my doccumentation done, return dozens of calls from messages over the last couple of days, change my voice mail message, respond to vital e-mails & leave work with nothing to do at home. Good thing too as I have plenty to do to get ready to do as little as humanly possible for 8 days. In reality we will largely stay in the condo for the weekend then gradually get out & do a little shopping, hiking & driving around in the mountains. They were supposed to have gotten up to 18 inches of snow in the mountains today so it should be really pretty. Hold down the fort here. I'll check in when I can but there is limited internet access up there. I can already feel myself relaxing.
