Added a Primary Arms MD-07 Micro Dot and an NcStar single point sling to my Ruger 10/22 Take Down today. The sling was only $10 but I'm going to splurge and set it up for a Magpul MS3 one day
Just because. I love this little rifle. I have an MD-09 Micro Dot on my AR15 and they are terrific for the money. Probably among the best Aimpoint clones with an awesome company backing them.
I also took my Ruger Gunsite Scout to my favorite gun store and got it some new glass. A Redfield Revolution 3-9x40. I also picked up a 5 round Ruger poly mag for it as the steel 10 rounds it comes with is a bit excessive for a woods gun (though a good item to carry loaded for backup). The last item I need to get in an (Eric) Ching Sling. Then she will be set. I know some would call blasphemy for mounting the scope over the receiver on a 'Scout' rifle, but the scout scope selection is piss poor and expensive. Even at 16.5" this little squirt is accurate enough to hunt with under 200 yards and would benefit from a good scope mounted in a traditional fashion.
