Well, since it is going to be a very low volume model, the SRT8 is exactly what they will be going against IMHO. The G8 GT was around 32k 3 years ago and the exchange rate/inflation has only gotten worse since then, the GXP was 40k. Unless they inten on offering 2 different models with 2 different V8s, IMHO there will be no V6 (actually think GM has said that?) since it would not fit with a car simply called the SS.
