Okay, so I picked up Forza Horizon today and man is this game a blast!

The world is huge, the graphics are great, and the controls aren't bad. Driving the cars feels mostly like a simulation with the best physics for an open-world racing experience, but it does have a slight arcadey feel compared to Forza 4. I do wish that I could customize the controller layout so that it is more in line with how I have it set up on Forza 4, but oh well.

The car list isn't near as expansive as Forza 4, but it does have some pretty respectable cars to play with.

The open world racing theme is great so far. I'm still trying to get use to driving with other traffic on the road, especially regular traffic to contend with!

The point-to-point races are pretty good and there are some fun racing challenges, such as racing a 1969 Mustang Boss 302 against a P-51 Mustang! Very cool!

Upgrading your car is still pretty in-depth, with the exception that you cannot customize the setup (i.e., tire pressure, alignment, suspension, gear ratio, etc.). :( This was a bummer, but maybe it will be included in the next version if they make one.

All in all, I'm impressed with this game! It's not Forza 4 or Forza 5, but it is a great open world racing game. IMO, Forza Horizon is much better than TDU 1 & 2 minus the persistant online racing aspect. I only wish that the next installment of Forza Horizon has a persistent online element. That would be cool!

Anyway, that's my review! Time to get back to playing!
