Wow, I thought "my" theoretical neighbors were off their meds.
I have a rather loud Camaro and do my best to keep the speeds and volume down around my house. That being said, one neighbor asked me in a not so polite manner to slow down.
Being a responsible, nearly 40 y/o man, I assured him I wasn't speeding and politely drove away. Afterwards I went back to his house and we had a grown up talk, like sane people do.
Good on you for exercising restraint in the situation, if it were me in your position, my sister would have been on the phone with 911 and if they weren't there in time, the words "I was reacting out of fear for the safety of myself and my sister officer" would have been all I would have said before the cuffs went on.
