the link is broken... also, the police share some fault as well because if he purchased the vehicle he would have a reciept showing payment.. if the payment was disputed by the dealer, the only thing that could have happened was the dealer taking him to civil court.. when police arrest, they are taking a suspect into custody after charging them with a crime.. the suspect had a legally binding contract for the purchase of the vehicle, he didn't drive off the lot without paying.. in Louisiana, civil court only goes up to $3,000..
