i had a friend who sold a cell phone and didn't properly transfer the thing and the new owner racked up $900. it went on for quite a while and then another friend of ours came to me and asked if we could split it to get him out of it. fortunately he'd just changed jobs and was making a lot more so he paid me $100 a week . i wasn't hurting for money... i just didn't want to be let down.
