There are so few real drivers and racing is harder than they thought and the debate forever rages on.

YUP, drag racing in the glassy quarter as I call it is not as easy as many may think. I personally think the drag strip is a stupid place to prove who is faster since there is too much slipping and," damn I almost veered into the wall when my rear lost it" crap going. This almost happened to me last week. I am personally done going to that crappy prepped strip in NH just saying, at the strip you can never really run 110% like on road surface. I actually ran a 18.7 at like 93mph run because my car had no freaking grip what so ever, I even saw a current AUDI S4 went sideways

. When you see STIs running as slow as an SS with serious slip issues like my first run then it is time to go to another track or stay off that strip. Now I am not pushing street racing but on that type of surface slip is not a real issue with that said an abandoned runway would be the perfect place to run. And if you drop the weight of an SS it would rival or beat a GT in MPH trap speed. My L99 trapped the same as the GTs I ran against but my times sucked in comparison and that L99 would get smoked by my current LS3.
