He had a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT, which got wrecked last September. He spent a couple weeks looking around before getting a slightly used 2011 2SS with RS package Camaro. It also has the Camaro stripes. The previous owner installed a JVC stereo with the Metra dash and Kenwood backup cam, straight pipes, and a light around the door trim pieces.
My dad's own peformance mods on this Camaro are a Flowmaster exhaust, K&N CAI, SLP Headers, a couple components from an SLP exhaust kit, SLP skip shift eliminator, Russell brake hoses, Hawk brake pads, rotors, Continental tires, and the Superchips Camaro edition Flashpaq tuner. His visual mods include heritage cross flags emblems, Foose Legend wheels, chrome shifter knob, shifter plaque, painted calipers red and put on new Brembo stickers.
He has the Sinister kit laying around, he just needs to test fit it, and he has a shop that will paint and install the kit. He decided not to use the spoiler, though. He's not much of a stripe guy, and will remove the other stripes when he gets the body kit on. He also has the Heritage grill, and will wait until the body kit is installed to install that. And He's also painting the engine cover, which is a work in progress, as the paint decides to lift on him. When he gets that done, he's putting on black decals over the CHEVROLET lettering, and has a chrome V8 and ring set for the cover.
