I was really happy the body shop recommended brand new parts. Tmr Lath is suppose to call the insurance company and get the claim started. Hopefully they will approve brand new OEM parts and wont make the shop go after market. The estimater said after market parts can be a PITA since it usually takes several tries to get one that fits and lines up correctly. Which means the car could be in the shop longer than expected.
But there is a good side to this. Lath said if the price isnt to high he will pay the difference to have the shop change the color of the ground effects kit to Carbon Flash Metallic.
