I totaly get the frustration from the EARLY pr-order guys and gals. It seems to me alot of dealers went way over their alottment and didn't tell the people who ordered from them. I ordered my car on Feb 23rd and it's built, 9067, there were allready about 14000 orders when I placed mine. To this day my dealer has only taken 5 orders. Out of an initial alotment of 12.
Everyone bragged about refundable deposits and only 500 dollars or none at all. I went to a place where it was 1000 dollars non-refundable but my car is built and on it's way.
It's not necesarily a GM thing but a dealer thing I think. Maybe it will all come out in the wash.
