That is the right front fender, inside edge, at the lower rear.
The stuff by the gills sort of breaks your rule of right hand damage.
And trust me, the cars not been near the berm, not seen any gravel, nor any sand in Beaver County Pa. This is good old black top-soil country.
Just tonight I inspected the 2011 Lexus is250C, the 99 F-350, the 05 Dodge Ram, the 04 Grand Cherokee, the 04 Blazer, and the 200,000 mile 00 Toyota Corolla. The new Camaro is by far the most damaged in the fender lip area. So my brand new car wins the award of the most jacked up paint of the family fleet. Even my wife's 2011 Malibu does not share this issue.
