Also you know damn well 116 in a car like the ZL1 will not get you a 11sec slip 99% of the time. Especially with a M6. Mid 12's on average and low 12's at best with a high 11 hero run here and there.
Yes a properly set up car just for the dragstrip can run mid and high 11's @ 116mph but not ZL1.
I ran 11.6@117 but that was with big and littles. No sway bars. Slicks. 3200 stall and 1.5 sixty foot. No ZL1 off the showroom floor will run a 11.6@117.

Of course its capable. however how many will be able to do it? Not most. Which is what i said. 127-129 mph manual cars are a very rare breed that also run 10`s et wise. maybe 1 in 50.
I never said a zl-1 is a mid 11 second car, not even the automatic. but then neither is the new gt-500 in the hands of 99% of the drivers they will face on the dragstrip. The auto ZL-1 cars are going to beat the GT500`s stock for stock most times at the dragstrip w/ avaerage drivers in both cars. The ZL`s will run 11.9 to 12.1`s all day long, the average GT-500 driver? Probably 12.3 to 12.5 w/ a higher mph...Lol..Of course some will go faster but you give people to much credit for their driving ability..
