who knows, they probably just got an awesome deal/discount for the rim/tire combo and decided to throw those on the gt500 and tried to make it work.

lets not forget were only talking about a 20mm here. a 6% difference. Given how the camaro IRS (doesnt) grips on a launch, i think it would need all the tire it can get.
