84-88 US Army, 05C/V9 Sattelite communications, SP4. Stationed in Germany at a "special weapons" facility. I spent a lot of time waiting on Ivan blast through Checkpoint Charlie and come visit. Luckily he never did.
Thank you to all who have served but especially those who have seen the combat that I was lucky enough to miss.
