I'm 57 years old, so I guess I'm an old fart too.

I was driving an '06 Dodge Magnum as my DD and had an '86 Monte Carlo SS that I rebuilt an older Goodwrench 350 and souped up with Vortec heads and headers, intake, cam, etc. That SS was my toy. But after I rebuilt it and had it running like a bear, I was kind of bored. So I sold it to some young cat from the City and took that money and traded my Maggie for my current brand new '12 2LT 'Vert.

I had a few ragtops when I was married and always wanted to get another one. I had a couple of Z-24 Cavalier 'verts, but my favorite was a '93 Olds Cutlass 'vert that had the infamous 3.4 DOHC 6 banger in it. That baby was sweet with a full leather interior. Alas, when my wife of 32 years went nuts and nuked our marriage, I couldn't afford to keep it around while we were dividing things up. I about cried when I sold that Cutty, even kissed it good bye. It went to a good garage, a fellow car nut that felt my pain.

When I saw the new Camaros, I knew I would get one. I was just waiting for the 'verts to come out.

So, last Saturday was THE day for me.....the return of the Ragtopguy!! I am soooooo happy with this car, I am just hoping that I don't have issues like some of the horror stories that I have read. Just wanna do some cruisin' with my very cool earth mother girlfriend and love life!!

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!
