i'm 1/3 way through this round of chemo. i'm only going once a week, but it's 110 miles round trip.
i had to make a special trip today for $1,500 shot to boost my white cells
for the next sitting. had the chemo yesterday and this shot has to be given 24 hrs after the chemo. the shot also adds flu symptoms to me for a couple days on top of what the chemo and steroids do.
anyway, long story short is it isn't curable and life expectancy of 5 yrs is 14%. the chemo is trying to keep it in check.
SO, ALL YOU SMOKERS QUIT WHILE YOU STILL GOT A CHANCE!!!
