The video that was posted today produced 0-60 in 3.8 seconds and high 11's on an unprepped surface in warm weather. He pulled off an easy 12.1 with the launch control on the same unprepped surface. He was also still lifting to shift on the runs. The ZL1 has a no lift shift feature. This could have cut the times down also.
11.9 is the best gt500 run on a prepped track with Evan Smith driving. The ZL1 is slightly quicker on stock rubber no doubt. You really dont think a private owner will best this recent high 11 on a prepped track and more seat time with more favorable DA?...think about it.
To me it is obvious the current ZL1 edges out the current GT500 in the 1320. But will have a big problem with the 2013.
