i agree. Both cars are gonna be traction limited. Combined with the gearing (tq multiplication), the ZL1 actually makes very similar power in 1st gear, just that it is for a much shorter time than the GT500 due to running out of breath earlier in the upper rpm range and 3.73's vs 3.31. If you can get the ZL1 to hook you should be able to get the GT500 to hook just as well. or you can make the case the same the other way around with the traction problems.
On the road course you can argue it different ways for each car and technically youd probably be right because its pretty much just speculation for now.
