Always keep your eyes open for a better deal, sounds like it might be time to start looking at the job boards if "big changes" are coming. At Sears they announced three years ahead of time that they were going to close unprofitable stores and sell the properties 3 years ago and now its become a reality. Just my two cents.

Walgreens is no where close to closing stores and as I said they are posting 10 billion dollar profits or more every single year. That is what makes me HOPE that these upcoming changes are more directed at salary managers above me who get huge bonuses.
I do not get a bonus and I work hourly, 40 hours a week. The manager above me is salary with a bonus and then there is the store manager who makes even more salary with a great bonus.
The one thing the company has said is that "yes we are going to be making changes and they will take 2-3 years to implement"
Usually that means change via attrition if you know the history of walgreens.
I guess im just upset that a company in such a good financial position is going to use the economy as an excuse to screw its hard working managers.
