i guess if it's speech time or anything like TAG did, it'd be this:
if there's one thing i've learned around here - it's that it don't really matter what your post count is. for one, it can easily be modified in any number of means (one forum i'm on arbitrarily decided to reset me to 0
). two, you can have 50,000 posts of nothing but smilies and not know much in the way of helping people with their cars making you not as technically useful as someone who has 100 posts of nothing but helping people troubleshot problems. granted these are extreme cases, but you get the picture.
for those who can't see my sig, i obviously backslid on my Camaro friends/ambitions & went to the dark side - a decision i won't apologize for
it's been my dream since 1st grade & i finally had a chance to live it!
that said, i'm grateful to all my friends that i've made here over the past 3 1/4 years who've let me stick around even after i let my vast technical knowledge of the Camaro slip through the cracks. it's been fun & helped keep me in good spirits through some tough times. thanks to all y'all for being AWESOME!!

i used to live in the original post whore thread for the first year or so, but then had a spell without interwebz & when i got back, it was a madhouse that was just too much to keep up with without constantly staying logged on. that & nowadays, if i do say anything in there, i just get ignored, so i stay out. also, there were a couple times i'd take 3-6 months without even logging on. i just needed a general break from the computer.
