Ed Hedrick drove Grumpy's L78 Nova probably more often than Bill did...a lot of new combos came down the pipe in '69 so Bill moved on to developing them, and had Ed help him drive the Grumpy team cars a lot. I got to know Ed several years ago, and he's made several passes in our '69 Yenko Camaro, which was cool, because back in the day Hedrick drove the Yenko Chevrolet sponsored SS/D car, which was appropriately a Daytona Yellow car just like ours. Btw, that car has *yet* to be found...
Our L78 Nova was a lot of fun to drive with the M20/3.55 combo, but with the M21/L72 our Yenko Nova is an absolute mess on the F70-14s...!
