This. During high school my friends and I played Halo non-stop every weekend. I was ok against the rest of them, got in some good moves here and there, but there were a lot of guys that could still mop the floor with me. After I got done with boot camp and went on to my communications school, started playing Halo with the guys that were there. I mopped the floor with them and they were all "dude, you're sooo good at this!" I just laughed and told them no, they just sucked. But by the end of the 6 months that I was there, 3 or 4 of the guys had matched my skill level from me constantly woopin their butts. You don't better your game by taking the easy route.
