Because you base performance on sound. Listen, i have nothing against mustangs, Believe it or not i was actually considering a mustang ant one point in my life. However, when you come to a CAMARO site and say a V6 CAMARO that produces the same amount of HP as V8 Mustang (late model) is less of a performance car then you must be daft. Or a troll. Different engines are used for different things. You understand that rally cars a V4's and Nascars are only allowed to be V8's? You do understand this correct? It isn't about the car, it's about you coming on to our site and disrespecting our members.
Also, if a V6 were just a cruiser... I WOULD HATE to drive a V8 that gets smoked by one! lol
EDIT: after reading more of your post i have found the answer you are looking for. YES get a mustang they are sooo great! All of us here wish we could have gotten one, we'd be so much more cool! Man i wish i was as smart as you to get on. :( Since, you know, all other cars are not true muscle cars
