It's never easy losing someone so close to you, especially when they are acting like that. She is obviously jealous, and is hoping you will apologize for your behavior. However, sounds like you haven't don anything wrong other than be a good friend. No need to apologize for that. Friends should be happy and excited when their friends accomplish things in life, not bag on them for doing it. Jo is right, she is poison and will only bring you down. I say do whatever you must (that is safe and legal) to vent this all out, and then move on. Girls can be nasty, and that's why a lot of my friends are guys. I have girl friends, but I don't keep them very close. They will stab you in the back in a heart beat. Very few out there that won't, but a vast majority will.
