I can understand your frustration. Hell I come from a die hard GM family and I'm still upset at the jacked up delivery process. I saw a bright yellow genesis at NAIAS and wasn't too impressed. I really can't stand the front end. But I saw one yesterday on the highway from the rear, and I liked it a lot more. You certainly could choose worse cars. I hope it lives up to the quality you expect, and you enjoy it. It might hurt when you start seeing Camaro's around though!
