New Member..Not New to LS Motors

Hey guys,

Although I am new to this site, I am far from new to the world of LS motors. I've always been a GM guy. In fact, every car I've ever owned has been an LS based V8 mated to a T56! lol I've always done all the work on my vehicles myself in the garage. Here's a list of my previous cars

1. 1999 Pontiac Trans Am M6 - full bolt ons/cam
2. 2000 Pontiac Trans AM WS6 - heads/cam/full bolt ons/some susp work
3. 2005 Cadillac CTS-V - bone stock

I love the Caddy, but miss my Trans Ams greatly. I'm ready to get back into a 2 door muscle car. For a little while I was looking around at maybe picking up a C6 vette, but as I searched around I began to fall in love with the new Camaro.

And I am going to order a new Maro soon!!

I've been a member on all the other forums for years, but never came across this one until recently. These include: ls1tech, ls2.com, fbody.com, camaroz28.com, cadillacforums.com, etc...

Its not set in stone yet, but I'm pretty sure I know what I want in the 2010 Camaro. Here's my preliminary list:

2010 Camaro 2SS Package - Cyber Gray Metallic (maybe black stripes?)
Manual Trans
Connectivity Package
RS Package
Boston Acoustics System
Power Sunroof

Accessories: Performance Exhaust (If it is truly made by Borla I will add this acc, if not I'll go aftermarket), Hurst short throw shifter (I know these are on hold till June or so, so I may go aftermarket with this as well).

Reading here for about a week or so now, I have learned a tremendous amount. Although I have previous knowledge of the GM LS series motors, I came here knowing almost nothing about the new Camaro. The people here seem quite friendly and helpful, as well as providing great resources. For instance, the price calculator Excel spreadsheet is quite useful for determining dealer invoice on my optioned vehicle.

I've began e-mailing dealers locally (NJ and some PA). As I get responses, I will add them to the below MSRP dealers thread or the Price Gouging dealers thread.

Thanks for all the good info guys and I hope I can be a great asset here.
