I'm sure McQueary told Joe accurately what happened. I'd bet my house on it. Becauwse Joe is gonna be in his face asking what exactly happened. So if the actual deeds that were witnessed was clouded, it had to be Joe that clouded them. Maybe out of disbelief.

The whole staff knew what was going on and didn't act. How many times over the years did McQueary and Sandusky talk were even in the same room? Same with Paterno, how do you continue to look at this man when you know deep down what he was doing?

I doubt Sandusky and Joe or Mike were ever in the same room together after that.

I agree for the most part, but if McQueary even gave Paterno the watered down version of what happened, which I highly doubt is accurate, that was enough to contact the State Police, not campus or local, immediately. I believe he told Paterno exactly what he witnessed and for Joe not to do more is troubling.

And taking it to the feds would get you no where as they would need way more evidence then just one witness and statement and also if the local or state level haven't even looked at it they definitely not going to look into it unless federal laws were being broken. The feds don't get involve with local affairs and it takes a hell of alot to happen before the feds show up, and its sad to say but on the federal level child abuse and sexaul rapes rank very low on their scale. They worried more about, terrorist activities, major drug distribution(like cartels and such), illgeal racketerring on a major level and things of the sort.

I'm just saying expect the unexpected at this moment as anything could come out now.

I guess time will tell. I have no doubt that it goes further down the proverbial Rabbit Hole.

Legislation is already drafted up in PA requiring anyone with any knowlege to report straight to law enforcement or state officials outside an institution or organization. That bill will pass easily.
