Exactly. And Joe takes the hit as well because of the same reason. Even second hand Joe has the power.

What you need to understand is that we have had Joe Paternos reputation shoved down our throats on Satturdays for years. And I always respected him based on that. Joe gets vilified because he was the most powerful man there. If some stupid recievers coach goes to the cops with that story it gets investigated and goes from there. If JOE PATERNO calls the cops or goes to them shit gets done. He had weight he could have thrown at this, and didn't. Indictments dont' add immorality and irresponsibility outside the law. With the fact we have now, I'm satisfied that Joe Paterno has been grosly and disgustingly negligent in that aspect.

I can promise you and say without reservation if I knew or had a good idea that someone, ANYONE, right now was doing that, or had done that, I'd make it my number one priority to find out. And I have NO power. Most people would. Joe put the University over the rape of a child.

Again, Joe is the guy with the power. I agree, McQueary should be brought up on charges. And at the very least should have his ass beaten severly. But, again, Joe Paternos 'Charachter' has been in our face, even across the country, for a long time now. We know the power he had. Joe had more power than anyone on that campus.

Finally some common sense.
