Personally I think this is going to be a hard battle for Ford to fight with the ZL1 having the Magnetic Ride Control and the pro traction management unless they have beefed up the suspension on the GT500 substantially I just dont see it happening. Technology wise the ZL1 gets the nod until we see what new has been added for the 13 GT500 and it will be hard for them to top the magnetic ride suspension its the same suspension that Ferarri uses and its used for a reason. If I was Ford I would be more worried on making sure the design on the new 6th gen Mustang looks good because that is what ultimately sells cars. Design is the one thing that is unique to a brand it is the ultimate product difference factor it doesnt matter how much power the car has if it doesnt have the look to go along with it people wont buy it. The new Camaro got the design right now its Fords turn to see what they can come up with. Lets hope they can pull out something better than the current Mustangs tail lights if not they are in trouble. The new Evos concept looks pretty good though so they are in the right direction it seems.
