The reason I posted this thread was to see if anyone in Tennessee has encountered one of these roadblocks and to find out if they are, indeed, only stopping commercial vehicles, or if they are stopping commuter traffic as well.

I might have read too much into the article, but it sounded like these were complete roadblocks, similar in fashion to ICE and DUI roadblocks, where every vehicle was forced to come through the existing truck weigh stations to be randomly searched...
