While serving in the US Navy in 1972 I purchased a 1966 Corvette convertible. I was 18 years old and owned this car for a total of 2 hours before I wrecked it! I was doing 130 and hit black ice. Rolled 3 times and ended up upside down on a drainage ditch. I was stupid but lucky! I think most of us have done some extremely foolish things in our lives....especially when you take a young male in a high performance car! I feel for this kid and his family!
