Many years ago my grandpa was looking for a new car to buy and drove to a dealership to check out what they had. When he got there they offered to take a look at his old car to see how much it was worth, etc. and took it to one of their garages. After browsing the selection, grandpa decided he would keep looking somewhere else. However, the sales rep was not too pleased with this and tried to persuade him otherwise. Not having any of that, grandpa asked for his old car back so he could drive home. But the dealership said they were "still taking a look at it" and would not release it. So my grandpa pretended he was still interested and asked to test drive a car. He left the lot and drove it straight home. When the dealership figured it out later and called him at his house, he said "well, you took my car and won't give it back, so I took one of yours!"
The dealership then agreed to give him back his car right away as long as he brought theirs back. My grandpa is a boss.
